Out of Africa

While traipsing through the southern half of Africa, I happened upon a little hamlet called Lusaka. In and around Lusaka, each and every business had these scary walls around them. Oohh... Razor wire and broken glass, my heart was pounding.

Spent many a lovely hour traveling on this stylish bus. Clement, thanks for being such a stellar driver of aforementioned bus, especially on the long, bumpy road to Livingston. You should be commended.
They take their strip mall security very seriously in Zambia. I've not been the same since the cavity search.

I made a new gnome friend in Africa, whilst checking out the Bwufwano Community Center. This gallant "Knight" - that's the good chaps name, really - carried me through the dusty compound as we visited the natives...My sojourn in Africa was a little more rambunctious than anticipated, due to the elections. (Who knew there would be rioting outside my abode?) It was, however, memorable and lovely, and I hope to find another exotic locale in the near future.
